Wednesdays This Winter!

Each Wednesday, starting January 7th, through Wednesday February 11th, Celilo will be hosting a special buy one-get-one promotion (Kinda like Two for Tuesday, yes, we know) evening!

Winter is a tough time, and this year especially so. We figured why not offer a buy-one-get-one on our entrees to thank all our year round customers, and give new customers a chance to see what we are all about.

Come by and try us out! The special runs across both Lunch and Dinner, so you'll have plenty of options to choose from! Better yet, you can do Tuesday at the Sixth Street, and Wednesday at Celilo!

Now we just have to figure out what to call it. Two for Wednesday? no........How about Recession Intermission?

We'll keep working on a good name. See you at Celilo on Wednesdays this Winter!

New Years Eve Celebrations!

Here's the Scoop on New Year's Eve.

SIXTH STREET: Running on normal hours, will close after regular dinner service

CELILO: Regular evening service, make your reservations now! After 10:00 p.m, we'll kick off our special New Year's Eve Party! Area 54 Djs, and your cover includes a Champagne toast and party favors. Make reservations next door at the Hood River Hotel, (you can get your tickets through them) and you'll be able to book a room at their special New Year's Eve discount! Party and then retire in safety and style!

And so it goes......2008

At the writing of this post, we will be printing out the final inventories, and signing the final documents for the changing of the guard at the Sixth Street. Chris and Stacie are wrapping up a year of management training, and will wear the moniker of Owners.

The Sixth Street has been a pioneer in Hood River since 1992. First to serve Painted Hills; helped establish a half dozen farms as suppliers; spun off staff who are owners and chefs and managers of almost a dozen other restaurants; a leader in sustainable restaurant concepts since 1998. Our commitment to our kitchens and our lives helps make Hood River food taste like Hood River. Healthy, Simple, Friendly.

Chris and Stacie Creasy will be great stewards of this Hood River Classic, and we welcome them. After all Hood River isn't just a family restaurant town, its a Restaurant Family Town.

Ben Jacqueline and I have been honored to have you all in our lives these past 16 years. Thanks for making the Sixth Street what it is today, a Hood River institution. It's been our pleasure to serve you!
