What's Fresh at the Restaurants, October 2008

Interesting mix of late Summer and Early Fall......Interest in regional food, and a confused growing season has sort of jumbled things together, so we are pick through the inbounds for interesting, unique, well raised, and.....just downright tasty.

This last couple of weeks...........

Figs! (Yes, you heard that, Figs. And they are tasty too.)
Melons
Tomatoes (Too many styles to count. An absolute avalanche. Try our Tomato Salad. Simply incredible)
Mushrooms (Of Course!) Chantys, blacks, mostly...........
First of the Root Vegetables too....It's not parsnip season yet, but it's coming.....

All in all, a great mix. White Oak has been sending us these incredible micro greens. So flavorful and small, really fun to work with.....

Happy Hour at Celilo

We've decided to keep our Happy Hour special going through the Winter. It's a pretty well followed feature, just ask our regulars at the bar......

ALL WINTER, we offer half off our bar menu, (at the bar only) between 5 and 6, Sunday through Thursday.
