End of August News

Wow, what a busy summer for sure, there have been lots of hungry people walking in the door at 6th Street and we have done our best to feed and hydrate them and get them back out fast to continue windsurfing, kayaking, kiting, mountain biking, road riding, running....OK you get the idea. Great to see some many faces again this summer, seems to me that Gorge is alive and well in 2009. Thanks for the support of our loyal guests, without you we would not be around!
This first Friday in September we have Levelland, formerly known as Matt and the Crooked Disciples, playing outside, they played for us at the first Friday of this year inside so it will be great to have them outside in the courtyard this time around. Great music, hope to see you that night.
Last thing to mention is that we have T-shirts, we had lots more shirts but they have been selling fast so at this very moment our sizes are limited but we are getting an order ready and going to add some hoodies for the colder weather. Come by and see what we have and pick up a FREE sticker for your car or truck!!!!
Thanks again!

Old vs. New. Wait a minute...New versus, oh nevermind.

I say that if you wear your cycling jersey then you can have your first beer at Happy Hour price, what do you say to that??? Come on in and watch this year's Tour.

July at the 6th Street

The fireworks start to happen at 6th Street starting July 3, that being first Friday here in Hood River.  We will have one our own playing, Rory Johnson with his band 4 on the Floor with some good old bluegrass.   We are excited to have them play with us and we will position them outside in the courtyard area so that lots of people can come by, have some food and drink and hear them play.  It will be fun.....
The other item to mention is about a Facebook page that Stacie and I put together. The idea behind this is to send out some updates on what we have going on there and I will send out stuff that will promote maybe some free food and extending some happy hour specials but you will only know if you follow us on Facebook otherwise you will be left in the dark.   Follow this link to 6th Street Facebook page.
Hope to hear and see you all soon....
